Spectrum Community Services continues to strengthen its commitment to Alameda County, delivering vital support and programs across the region. We are dedicated to serving seniors, families, and individuals with low incomes, and we are proud to share some recent updates highlighting our ongoing work and dedication to the community.

Recently, Spectrum Community Services mourned the passing of two remarkable champions of our mission: Dr. Marion Sanchez and Sotera Brown. Dr. Sanchez, a dedicated board member, and Sotera Brown, our esteemed founder, both left an indelible mark on our organization. Their unwavering commitment to service and profound compassion have been instrumental in shaping Spectrum Services into what it is today. We honor their memory and are inspired by their enduring legacy to continue uplifting our community through comprehensive spectrum services.

In exciting news, Spectrum Community Services has been recognized as the Best Nonprofit by the Castro Valley/Eden Area Chamber of Commerce for 2024. This prestigious award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the positive impact of our spectrum services on the local community. We are deeply grateful for this recognition from the community we are so proud to serve.

Looking ahead, Spectrum Services is seeking to expand our team and enhance our organizational capacity. We have issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for an Employment Recruiter/Search Firm to assist us in finding a new Controller/CFO.
