Streamlining Your Mail Services at Polar Service Center

Mail Services acts as the central distribution point for all incoming mail delivered by various carriers, as well as for mail circulated within the campus. Mirroring many of the conveniences offered by USPS, we provide services such as Express Mail, Priority Mail, and Certified Mail. For your mailing needs, we also sell stamps and essential shipping supplies. Furthermore, we function as a convenient drop-off location* for USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipments.

*To drop off packages, they must be equipped with a complete shipping label that includes a tracking number. Please note that we are unable to accept labels that only contain a QR code.

Understanding Your Student Mailing Address

To ensure efficient processing and delivery, all mail and packages must adhere to the following address format:

Student First and Last Name
XXXXX Campus Box
Elon, NC 27244

For addressing purposes, the campus box number precedes “Campus Box,” similar to a street address.

Should a shipper require a more detailed address, you may include an additional address line: 100 Campus Drive. Incorrectly addressed items may experience processing delays or be returned to sender.

Your designated campus box number can be located in OnTrack. For more detailed information, please visit our Incoming Students page.

Recommendations for Mailing Sensitive Items

For the secure delivery of the following items, we strongly advise utilizing shipping methods that include tracking:

  • Cash or Credit Cards (Please be aware that mailing cash is discouraged, even when using tracking services.)
  • Keys
  • Passports
  • Prescription Medication

Accepted Carriers and Package Tracking

Easily track your packages by clicking on the respective carrier link provided below and entering your tracking number on their website.

*For Amazon packages with tracking numbers beginning with TBA, tracking information is exclusively available through your Amazon account. Mail Services does not have access to Amazon’s internal tracking system.

*Amazon deliveries are received Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Kindly update your account’s delivery instructions to reflect these delivery hours. Click here for step-by-step instructions on updating your account settings.

Direct deliveries from stores and grocery services (such as DoorDash, Roadie, Shipt, Target, UberEats, Walmart, Whole Foods, etc.) must be arranged by the student for direct delivery to their location. Mail Services, the Moseley Center front desk, the Inman Admissions Welcome Center, and any other campus locations are not authorized to accept these deliveries. Unattended items left randomly on campus that remain unclaimed after one day will be subject to donation or disposal.
