If you need to authenticate your California documents for international use, this is a convenient opportunity to obtain an apostille in person. What You Need to Bring for Your Apostille Service
To ensure a smooth and efficient apostille service at the Pop-Up Shop, please bring the following items:
- Original Document: You must provide an original document signed by a California public official or an original notarized and/or certified document. Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Completed Request Form: Fill out and bring the Apostille Pop-Up Shop Request Cover Sheet to expedite your request.
- Payment: Be prepared to pay a fee of $20.00 per Apostille. Additionally, there is a $6.00 Special Handling fee for each different public official’s signature that needs to be authenticated. Acceptable payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Check, or Money Order. Please note that cash is not accepted, and checks or money orders should be made payable to the Secretary of State.
Please be aware that these popular events may have wait times of up to 2-3 hours. To guarantee service, it is highly recommended to arrive as early as possible during the event hours.
