Senior Pastor Eric Geiger at Mariners Church
Meet Senior Pastor Eric Geiger
Eric Geiger serves as the Senior Pastor of Mariners Church. Married to Kaye with two daughters, Eden and Evie, Eric is passionate about sharing God’s Word and serving the Mariners Church community. He holds a doctorate in leadership and church ministry from Southern Seminary and is the author or co-author of several books, including “Simple Church.” In his personal time, Eric enjoys exploring Southern California’s food scene with Kaye, spending time at the beach with his daughters, mountain biking, and playing basketball. Pastor Eric and the entire Mariners Church team are dedicated to supporting our community through all of life’s journey, including providing comfort and guidance during times of loss through Mariners Church Memorial Services.
Lead Pastor Jared Kirkwood at Mariners Church Irvine
Meet Lead Pastor Jared Kirkwood
Jared Kirkwood is the Lead Pastor of Mariners Irvine and also serves as the Discipleship Pastor. With 16 years of service at Mariners Church, Jared has previously served as Junior High and High School Pastor, Lead Pastor for the Rooted Network, and as a Teaching Pastor. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanguard University and a master’s degree in global leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. Jared and his wife Kim have two children, Asher and Ellie. Outside of his pastoral duties, Jared enjoys playing golf with friends. Pastor Jared is committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment at Mariners Irvine, where individuals and families can find spiritual growth and community, including access to resources and support during sensitive times such as planning a Mariners Church memorial service.
