As previously communicated, SLS underwent a rebranding and is now known as Newrez, effective May 1, 2024. This transition marks an important evolution in our Specialized Loan Services and is designed to enhance our offerings and streamline operations for our valued clients.
Effective June 1, 2024, the SLS Serviced Released business is officially moving to the Newrez platform for all Federal Home Loan Bank transactions. This platform migration is a crucial step in integrating our services under the Newrez brand and ensuring a unified and efficient experience for all clients utilizing our specialized loan services. All new Service Released commitments should be secured through Newrez starting June 1, 2024. It’s important to note that all Service Released commitments made previously with SLS will be honored and will continue to be managed within the SLS system until funding is complete.

To ensure a smooth transition to the Newrez platform and continued access to our specialized loan services, please take note of the following important details:
- Client Portal Access: The new client portal is now accessible at newrezcorrespondent.com. This portal will serve as your primary access point for managing your specialized loan services with Newrez.
- New Client Portal Credentials: You will be provided with new login credentials to access the Newrez platform. Please ensure your team is prepared to utilize these new credentials starting June 1, 2024.
- Dedicated Toll-Free Support Line: For any assistance or inquiries, our dedicated toll-free number for all associates remains available at 877-700-4622.
- Continuity of Operations Team: Your current Operations Team will remain unchanged, ensuring consistency in service and support. However, please note that employee email addresses have been updated to [email protected].
Actionable Steps from June 1, 2024
To fully leverage the Newrez platform for specialized loan services and maintain seamless operations, please implement the following actions starting June 1, 2024:
- Utilize the Newrez Client Portal: Begin using the Client Portal at newrezcorrespondent.com for all activities, including accessing important announcements, guide updates, and managing suspense items related to your specialized loan services. The portal also provides enhanced capabilities for document uploads, streamlining your workflow.
- Update Goodbye Letters: It is imperative to update your Goodbye letters to accurately reflect the rebranding. Please remove all references to Specialized Loan Servicing, LLC, and replace them with Newrez LLC. This ensures consistent and correct communication with borrowers regarding their specialized loan services.
- Revise Borrower Contact Information: Update the borrower phone number on your Goodbye Letters to the new contact number: 866-317-2347.
- Adjust Payment Address: Ensure the payment address on your Goodbye Letters is updated to the following: Newrez LLC P O Box 10826 Greenville SC 29603-0826.
- MERS System Updates: When using the MERS system, please use the Newrez ORG ID: 1007544. This is crucial for accurate recording and tracking of specialized loan services transactions.
- Attend Newrez Training Sessions: To gain comprehensive knowledge of co-issue delivery options with Newrez and our enhanced specialized loan services, we strongly encourage you and your team to attend one of our training sessions. These sessions will be available starting May 8, 2024.
