Comprehensive Environmental Services in El Paso: Keeping Our City Clean and Green

The Environmental Services Department (ESD) in El Paso is dedicated to maintaining a clean, beautiful, and healthy community for all residents. ESD offers a wide array of essential environmental services, from efficient waste management and recycling programs to critical air quality monitoring and vector control initiatives. These services are designed to ensure the well-being of El Paso and its environment.

Convenient Citizen Collection Stations

For El Paso residents (excluding commercial businesses and contractors), ESD provides easily accessible Citizen Collection Stations. These stations serve as convenient drop-off points for regular household trash, household hazardous waste, and bulky items. Collected trash is responsibly transported to the Greater El Paso Landfill for proper disposal.

Beyond trash disposal, Citizen Collection Stations are multifaceted resources for the community. They function as additional recycling drop-off locations, supporting El Paso’s commitment to sustainability. Residents can also borrow landscaping tools, and access free resources such as paint, mulch, and gently used household products, promoting reuse and reducing waste. It is important to note that these stations do not accept construction or demolition materials.
